Epstein-Lang and Ohler, ELO, is a St. Louis-based law firm providing compassionate counsel to families in crisis. Prior to forming ELO , Suzanne Epstein-Lang and Tara A. Ohler had nearly thirty years of combined legal practice in the areas of domestic violence, child advocacy, education law, dissolution, and paternity actions. In 2008, the two lawyers took positions in the St. Louis Circuit Court Family Drug Court. Suzanne was the Guardian ad Litem for children and Tara was the attorney for mothers, making them opposing counsel, working toward a common goal of reunifying families. It was their experience on the drug court team that led them to friendship and put them on the path to partnership.
Among other practice areas, ELO provides holistic legal assistance and counsel to families impacted by an addicted loved one. Due to legal ethics and potential conflicts, we are unable to provide criminal defense or any other representation to your addicted loved one. Rather, we serve YOUR interests as you navigate the complex web of legal, social, and emotional issues stemming from your relative’s substance abuse. We recognize that addiction is a disease. You do not have to be ruled by their disease.
